Alexis De Weese
Alexis De Weese is a writer, digital marketer, and student of theology. Her work is devoted to creating space for necessary conversations within the Church and helping others cultivate practices of digital hospitality.
As a senior marketing manager with Zondervan Reflective, an imprint of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Alexis collaborates with authors to bring their message to readers. She has created marketing strategies for million-book bestsellers and NBA All-Star champions for the past decade within the publishing industry.
A student at the University of St. Andrews, she’s currently researching how a theology of hospitality applies to digital spaces and the creatives who use them to share their work.
She also hosts The Bad Book Reviews Podcast, where she discusses the hilariously cruel reviews authors receive, and unpacks what it means to talk about books we don’t enjoy and accept criticism from the readers we seek to serve.
When she’s not working on professional or writing projects, she’s either reading, planning her next international trip, or trying to gather friends around her table for a meal.
