Talinn Phillips


Talinn Phillips is an Associate Professor of English at Ohio University, where she also directs the Graduate Writing & Research Center. Her scholarly interests include graduate writing, multilingual writing, writing centers, and lifespan writing research. Phillips is the author of Teaching with a Global Perspective: Practical Strategies from Course Design to Assessment (2018), helping U.S. faculty create welcoming and accessible environments for international students. In 2020, Teaching with a Global Perspective was also published in Spanish as EnseƱar con Perspectiva Global e Inclusiva.

An Ohio native, Philipps is obsessed with cooking and travel. She is currently living in Germany while on sabbatical.
