Nicholas Wolterstorff is Noah Porter Professor Emeritus of Philosophical Theology at Yale University, where he taught from 1989-2002. Previously, he taught at Calvin College, the Free University of Amsterdam, and the University of Notre Dame. He is past President of the American Philosophical Association and serves on its publication and executive committees. In addition to publishing more than 150 scholarly articles, Wolterstorff has written numerous books on epistemology, aesthetics, justice and political philosophy, and education. Such books include Reason within the Bounds of Religion; Faith and Rationality (co-authored with Alvin Plantinga); Art in Action; Works and Worlds of Art; Educating for Shalom; Until Justice and Peace Embrace; and Lament for a Son. His recent publications include Religion in the University (2019) and In This World of Wonders: Memoir of a Life in Learning (2019).
