Jennifer Steensma Hoag

Jennifer Steensma Hoag is a professor of photography and visual culture at Calvin University. She holds an MFA in imaging arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her solo exhibitions include Comprised Beauty, The Nature of Invasion, Terra Incognita, and re/construct. Her work has also appeared in numerous group exhibitions across the U.S. and abroad; the most recent of these exhibitions include Photographic Visions (PH 21 Photography Gallery, Budapest, 2019), Animalia (The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, 2017), and Context 17 (Filter Space, Chicago, 2017).
