Chris Park

Environmental, Theology

Chris Park is a retired academic with more than 30 years of experience in university teaching, research and senior management in the UK. He is also Professor Emeritus at Lancaster University, where he was Director of the Graduate School from 2001 to 2009.

Park worked with and for the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). In his work as a geographer, he published numerous books and academic papers on environmental topics such as tropical rainforests, environmental hazards, acid rain, and Chernobyl. He has also written books on religious subjects such as St. Francis of Assisi, creation care, and Christian environmental theology.
